Everyone has their own idea of the perfect hiking landscape. Some love the forest, with its interplay of light and shade and the cool air beneath the trees. Others prefer alpine meadows, where every step feels soft and springy underfoot.

From mid-March to mid-November, Tramin offers guests guided hikes several times a week to some of the most beautiful destinations in the surrounding area and in the Dolomites.

Explore the Mediterranean landscape around Tramin together with our knowledgeable local hiking guides. Thanks to the mild climate and the beauty of the countryside during apple blossom season, southern South Tyrol is an ideal hiking destination in spring.

Gewürztraminer has been cultivated for more than 100 years in the vineyards above Tramin. This guided wine hike starts in the Bethlehem district and follows the Gewürztraminer Trail through the vineyards, offering fascinating insights into local viticulture and the wine landscape of Tramin.

The return route leads through the wine village, passing historic residences and wineries. A tasting is included. Duration: approx. 2.5 hours, including around 1.5 hours of walking. Good footwear is recommended. More details are available here.

This family-friendly hike invites children and adults to discover the natural world around Tramin together. The route leads through forests and meadows to the educational beekeeping site, with plenty to learn and experience along the way.

In a playful and entertaining way, children discover fascinating facts about trees, forest animals and edible plants. Duration: approx. 3 hours, including around 1 hour of actual walking. More details are available here.
