Tramin Bee Trail

Discover the Fascinating World of Honeybees

Nestled in the greenery and easily accessible from the village of Tramin, the Bee Trail of the Tramin–Kurtatsch–Margreid Beekeepers’ Association invites visitors on an exciting journey of discovery. On nine richly illustrated information panels, visitors can learn all about the life of honeybees: from the formation and importance of pollen, to pollination, and the organization of a bee colony. Other topics such as honey production, the effect of propolis, and the crucial role of bees for agriculture and the landscape are clearly and vividly explained.

Walking along the trail, it quickly becomes clear how closely human life and nature are connected – and how indispensable the work of bees is for our nutrition and biodiversity.

At the end of the Bee Trail you will find the association’s apiary, home to diligent honeybees, as well as a large insect hotel that provides a valuable habitat for numerous species of wild bees and other beneficial insects.

Information on guided tours – where experienced beekeepers share first-hand knowledge and fascinating insights into the work with bees – can be found Here.

An experience for the whole family that combines knowledge, nature, and enjoyment.
