Hike from Tramin through Söll to the Gummererhof
Starting from the Festplatz, the paved Söller Weg leads us past Schloss Rechtenthal as we climb up to the district of Söll. In Söll, we pass by the Expositurkirche of St. Mauritius, renowned for its remarkable frescoes, before continuing along the road to the Lotterbrunnen (marker no. 11).
Here we leave the main road and follow a narrow path that branches off to the left, passing several farmhouses until reaching the forest road. From this point, walkers are rewarded with a stunning view of lower Tramin and the Adige Valley. After the last farmhouse, a wooden sign points the way to the Gummererhof, which we reach after a final short climb (720 m, closed Mondays and Tuesdays). Here, hikers can enjoy local specialties and take in the beautiful valley views, perfect for a brief rest or a leisurely refreshment break.
For the return, we retrace the same route, but at the forest road, we turn right and follow it to the forest marker. From there, turning left onto Trail No. 10, we make our way back to Tramin.
