Whether it’s sunny or light rain, a visit to the Kaltern Adventure Park is almost always worthwhile! On hot days, the shady forest provides a pleasant, cool climate. Even in drizzle, the dense canopy of leaves keeps things largely dry, so you can still enjoy the climbing fun.

Only in the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms nearby do we have to temporarily close the park or take breaks for safety reasons. Generally speaking, however, most weather conditions are no obstacle to your climbing day!

  • Closed-toe shoes: Hiking boots or sneakers or trekking shoes
  • Comfortable clothing: That can get dirty – because of the tree resin
  • Snacks & drinks: For a short break – a small rest area is available

By car:
Take the Wine Road towards Lake Kaltern, then turn right at the turnoff to St. Anton – Altenburg and follow the signs with the Olympic rings. There is ample parking.

By bike:
The adventure park is also accessible by bike. The route to the sports zone is a bit uphill, but after the adventure, you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic descent into the village!

By bus:
Take line 130 from Tramin to Kaltern, to the final stop at Rottenburgerplatz. Then take the Eppan-Kaltern city bus, line 135.3, directly to the St. Anton sports zone. Current timetables can be found Here.
