What can I expect during the Spring Hiking Days in March?

Immerse yourself in the diversity of the spring landscape and experience three unforgettable days of hiking: From the leisurely hike along the Brandiswaalweg in Lana, which leads you through well-tended orchards and alongside the babbling irrigation channel, offering beautiful views of Lana and the Adige Valley; to the varied tour from Lago di Cavedine up to Castel Drena, where you hike through a landscape characterized by rock faces and Mediterranean vegetation, finally reaching the impressive castle with its view over the Sarca Valley; to the scenic Mazzon-Kanzel circular hike – a varied path through vineyards and light forests, running above Neumarkt and offering fantastic views of the lower Adige Valley and the Dolomites. Each tour combines nature, culture, and culinary delights into a unique hiking experience.

Friday: 35,00 €uro incl. VAT (own transfer for groups of 8 or more)

Registration

We kindly ask you to register no later than three weeks before the hiking days begin. The tourism association reserves the right to cancel the hiking days if fewer than six people are registered two weeks before the registration deadline.

Thursday:
Brandiswaalweg in Lana

A sunny irrigation channel path with panoramic views and a waterfall: The Brandiswaalweg winds its way above Lana through orchards and chestnut groves to the impressive Brandis Waterfall – the highlight of the tour. The return route leads via the Larchbühelweg with magnificent views of the Adige Valley. A delightful circular hike with plenty of sunshine, nature, and South Tyrolean flair.

Walking time 3 hours – length 8 km – altitude difference 190 m

Friday:
Lago di Cavedine – Castel Drena

This varied hike in the Sarca Valley combines nature, history, and impressive landscapes. From the emerald-green Lago di Cavedine, the trail leads through olive groves and vineyards up to the imposing Castel Drena castle ruins. From there, you can enjoy a sweeping view over the valley and the Brenta Dolomites – an ideal spot for a relaxing break with panoramic views.

Walking time 3 hours – length 9.0 km – altitude difference 400 m

Saturday:
Circular hike Mazzon – Kanzel
A scenic trail above Neumarkt. The circular hike leads through vineyards, meadows, and light forests to the well-known Kanzel, a magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Adige Valley. Well-maintained paths allow you to enjoy the tranquility of nature – with stunning views and opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way.

Walking time 4 hours – length 10.0 km – altitude difference 700 m

From 5 pm onwards, we invite all participants to an aperitif.

Certified hiking guide, transfers, aperitif on the final evening, diploma, surprise gift, and registration fee included in the price.
