Tramin – gsellig, gwürzig, guat
On Saturday, 17 October 2026, Tramin will once again open its doors from 2:30 pm until midnight for one of South Tyrol’s most atmospheric wine festivals. In the traffic-free village centre, you can enjoy a fine selection of wines from the local wineries – from the world-famous Gewürztraminer to Lagrein and Pinot Noir – accompanied by a variety of seasonal delicacies such as roasted chestnuts, apple fritters and traditional krapfen.
Wine and food are served on a self-service basis. At the entrance, you will receive a wine glass upon payment of a €10 deposit. The glass must be returned by 12:30 a.m. in order to receive your deposit back.
If you do not manage to return it in time on the evening of the event, you can also return the glass on the following Monday, October 19, at the Tramin Tourist Office, where your deposit will be refunded.
Music, how to get there & Cultural Programme
A varied programme of live music creates the perfect atmosphere, turning Tramin’s historic lanes into lively spaces filled with music and conviviality.
You can easily reach the Weingassl by public transport. To plan your journey there and back, we recommend downloading the Südtirol Mobile app, where you can conveniently check current connections and timetables.
On the same day as the Weingassl, the Cultural and Culinary Vineyard Hike also takes place on the hillsides above Tramin – a wonderful way to enjoy an autumn day surrounded by vineyards, culture and local flavours.
