followed by a traditional morning gathering (Frühschoppen)
For the first time, the South Tyrolean Farmers’ Association of Tramin (Südtiroler Bauernbund Tramin) invites visitors to a Corpus Christi Frühschoppen at the church square in Tramin.
After the solemn Holy Mass and the traditional Corpus Christi procession, locals and guests are warmly invited to spend the late morning together in a convivial atmosphere. Corpus Christi is one of the most important religious celebrations in South Tyrol. Following the Mass, the procession moves through the village, traditionally accompanied by the Schützen association, fire brigade and the Tramin town band. Decorated streets, traditional costumes and festive music give this holiday its special character and make it an impressive expression of local traditions.
After the procession, the traditional morning gathering (Frühschoppen) at the church square invites everyone to enjoy a relaxed get-together. Food and drinks will be available.
