Südtirol Guest Pass & Mobilcard
Your Ticket for Boundless Mobility
Enjoy the freedom of exploring South Tyrol without a car! With the Südtirol Guest Pass or the Mobilcard, you can conveniently and environmentally friendly experience the region’s diverse beauty – all without a car. Both passes allow you free or discounted travel on buses, trains, and selected cable cars.
How the Südtirol Guest Pass Works
The pass will be provided free of charge by your host in Tramin and is tied to your name and stay. The pass can be used for your journey to Tramin, provided you have completed Smart Check-in in advance and received the pass digitally in good time. Please note: the Südtirol Guest Pass is only available at participating establishments. It is valid from midnight on the day of arrival until 11:59 pm on the day of departure. The pass must be activated on each journey using the QR code on the blue validation machines.
Available Transport:
- Regional trains within South Tyrol and to Trento
- Local buses (city, regional, and city buses)
- PostAuto Switzerland (line 811 Mals – Müstair)
- Cable cars: Ritten, Kohlern, Mendola, Vöran, Mölten, and Maranza
Not Included:
- Long-distance trains (Railjet, Eurocity, Frecciarossa, etc.)
- Nightliners and certain alpine lines
- Shuttle buses to tourist hotspots during peak seasons
- Bicycle transport (separate ticket required)

Mobilcard – Travel flexibly and comfortably through South Tyrol
The Mobilcard is the ideal companion for anyone who wants to use South Tyrol’s public transport flexibly and conveniently. If your accommodation doesn’t offer a Südtirol Guest Pass, the Mobilcard is a practical alternative.
With the Mobilcard, you can make unlimited journeys on public transport in South Tyrol, including buses, trains, and cable cars. It is available for 1, 3, or 7 calendar days and allows you to use regional public transport within the validity period.
How the Mobilcard Works
The Mobilcard can be easily purchased in the Südtirolmobil app, but also at Südtirolmobil info points or at the local tourist office. Once you have purchased your Mobilcard, you can activate it directly in the app and validate it before each journey. The activation is valid for the specific period, and the ticket remains valid until the period expires. Each online ticket is validated only once (before the first journey).

Not Included:

Taking dogs/animals with you
- Single ticket or Mobilcard Junior (€10)
- Free for guide dogs and small animals (muzzles required)
Bicycle transport:
- 7 € per day for a bicycle day ticket
