Christmas Market in the historic “Bethlehem” quarter of Tramin
On Monday, December 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tramin’s oldest quarter, Bethlehem, will transform into a magical Christmas market. Between narrow alleys, historic farmhouses, and private courtyards, visitors can enjoy a unique Advent experience full of tradition, flavors, and creativity.
A special atmosphere & open courtyards
On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, local courtyard owners in Tramin open their gates, offering exclusive glimpses into spaces usually closed to the public. Together with the exhibitors, they invite guests on a special stroll through the historic heart of the village.

New this year: The Living Nativity in Betlehem
Mary and Joseph pause in Tramin’s oldest quarter – Betlehem, where, according to legend, a nomadic woman once gave birth to her child on Christmas Eve. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., you can experience the Living Nativity in the Langenmantel Courtyard and be enchanted by the special Advent atmosphere.
Alongside Mary, Joseph and the Child, you’ll also meet an ox, goats, sheep, and other small animals that bring the scene to life. A memorable experience for young and old alike, filled with peace and Christmas spirit.
Exhibitions
Visitors can explore a photo and art exhibition by amateur photographers and hobby artists from Tramin. In addition, the exhibition „Sakrales“ is on display in the Rynnhof Chapel, and the fresco room in Ansitz Langenmantel, one of Tramin’s oldest buildings dating back to the 14th century, can be visited.
