What can I expect during the Spring Hiking Days in May?

Immerse yourself in the diversity of the spring landscape and experience three unforgettable days of hiking: From the scenic hike from the Mendel Pass to the Malosco Alpine Pasture and on via the Regole back to the Mendel Pass, which leads you along pleasant paths through quiet forests and expansive alpine meadows, offering magnificent views of the Non Valley and the Mendel Group; to the spectacular Lake Garda hike from Torbole via the Busatte-Tempesta panoramic trail back to Torbole, where you’ll walk across airy metal walkways and stairs high above the lake, enjoying ever-changing, breathtaking views of the deep blue Lake Garda; to the varied tour from Tramin via the Gummererhof to the Göllerwiese meadow and back to Tramin – a path through vineyards, forests, and sunny high-altitude areas, offering sweeping views of the valley below and the surrounding peaks. Each tour combines nature, culture, and culinary delights into a unique hiking experience.

Registration

We kindly ask you to register no later than three weeks before the hiking days begin. The tourism association reserves the right to cancel the hiking days if fewer than six people are registered two weeks before the registration deadline.

Programm:

Thursday:
Mendelpass – Malosco Alm – Regole-Mendelpass

The hike starts at the Mendel Pass, one of South Tyrol’s most famous Alpine passes, and initially leads along alpine pasture and forest tracks to the Malosco Alpine Pasture. Along the way, magnificent views of the Adige Valley and the surrounding mountains repeatedly open up. After a rest at the pasture, the hike continues towards Regole. On the return to the Mendel Pass, you follow quiet mountain paths that offer diverse impressions of nature and landscape.

Walking time 4 hours – length 12.0 km – altitude difference 520m

Friday:
Lake Garda–Hike: Torbole – Busatte – Tempesta – Torbole

The tour begins in the charming Lake Garda town of Torbole and initially leads along the famous Busatte Cliffs. Narrow paths with spectacular panoramic views of Lake Garda alternate with sections through the forest and over sunny rocks. After a short climb, you reach Tempesta, where impressive viewpoints over the valley and the lake await. On the return to Torbole, you can repeatedly enjoy the blend of nature and the panoramic views of Lake Garda.

Walking time 3.5 hours – length 10.0 km – altitude difference 420m

Saturday:
Tramin – Gummererhof – Göllerwiese – Tramin

This varied circular tour starts in Tramin and leads along partly steep paths through vineyards and forests up to the Gummererhof. It continues over rocky passages and the striking ‘White Giants’ with impressive views down to Tramin, the South Tyrolean lowlands and Lake Kaltern. After the more challenging ascent, you reach the Göllerwiese – a clearing with great views, ideal for a short rest. The way back leads down into the valley again on forest paths.

Walking time 4.5 hours – length 12 km – altitude difference 610m

From 5 pm onwards, we invite all participants to an aperitif.

Certified hiking guide, transfers, aperitif on the final evening, diploma, surprise gift, and registration fee included in the price.
