Christmas Market, Advent Fountains & More

From the end of November, numerous festive initiatives begin in Tramin – from the beautifully decorated Advent fountains to the unique „Traminer Hof-Advent“ Christmas Market.

Every year on December 8, Tramin’s historic district „Betlehem“ invites visitors to the atmospheric „Traminer Hof-Advent“. In 2025, it will once again open several private courtyards, featuring around 30 exhibitors presenting handmade crafts, local products, and much more in the charming setting of the old buildings. New this year is the live nativity scene, delighting young and old alike and adding to the festive spirit.

Seventeen lovingly decorated Advent fountains invite visitors on a winter walk through Tramin, while the Advent stall at the town hall square offers warm drinks. From December 1 to 24, a new light illuminates the streets and alleys of Tramin each day until all illuminated routes converge at the parish church. With a bit of luck, both young and old may catch a glimpse of St. Nicholas on December 6.

The varied and festive Advent program is rounded out with exhibitions, culinary specialties, and music. Christmas traditions are additional highlights of the Traminer Advent.
