As the sun slowly sets behind the vineyards and the streets of Tramin are bathed in the warm light of a summer evening, the Long Wednesday in Tramin comes to life. On five Wednesdays throughout the summer, the historic village centre transforms into a lively meeting place filled with flavours, music and memorable moments.

Locals, visitors and guests come together to stroll through the village, enjoy regional specialties and experience the unique atmosphere of Tramin.

At the Town Hall Square and along Hans-Feur-Straße, visitors can discover local delicacies, creative street food and summer dishes prepared by Tramin’s restaurants and associations. Local wineries and distilleries present selected wines and spirits from Tramin, the home of the famous Gewürztraminer.

Live bands, DJs, traditional dance groups and cultural performances create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the evening. Local shops invite visitors to enjoy late-night shopping, while artisans and exhibitors showcase handmade products and regional craftsmanship.

Families are well catered for too: children’s entertainment, games, horse-drawn carriage rides and activities organised by local associations make the event enjoyable for all ages.
