The Ski Center Latemar links South Tyrol to Trentino: Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo are places of embarkation.
Varied and perfectly groomed slopes, snow-guarantee and lots of spectacular events make the Obereggen ski resort in Latemar’s Ski Center one of South Tyrol’s most popular ski resorts. The ski kindergardens for the smaller guests can be found everywhere as are snowparks for snowboarders, which are especially attractive to young people.
Obereggen has got a wide variety of Après ski possibilities in order to round off a fantastic day of skiing.
You can reach the place of entry Pampeago in about 40 minutes, Montan – Cavalese – Tesero turn left: Pampeago.
The place of entry Obereggen can be reached in less than an hour from Bozen into Eggental at the foot of Latemar mountain.
Those who have no interest in Après Ski can find their well-deserved peace at Jochgrimm. Jochgrimm is an ideal ski area for families and ski groups. And there’s something for everyone from beginners’ slopes to steep valley descents. And that’s not all: 60 km of slopes ensure the cross-country skiers aren’t left out either in one of the biggest and most beautiful cross-country areas in the alpine region.
Jochgrimm is 35 km from Tramin and easily reached via Monta – Cavalese – Passo Lavaze.
Just a few kilometres away from Tramin (20 km) you’ll find the ski region Alta Val di Non at the Mendel ridge. The ski area is perfectly suitable for children and ski beginners. The area is also an adventure for pleasure-seekers: Winter and snow-shoe hikers as well as cross-country skiers will find ideal conditions here.
In the Reinswald ski region, a family-oriented and attractive ski region that’s not all too large you can ski or snowboard exceptionally, go for a hike or ski tour, whizz down one of the longest natural sled runs or enjoy a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride.
Reachable from Tramin in the direction of Bozen-Sarntal in about 45 minutes.
In winter the Rittnerhorn ski region is popular as a varied ski region. Wide slopes prove themselves as being ideal for anyone who doesn’t exaggerate when skiing. However, it’s not only skiers who will find everything they long for at Rittnerhorn: There are lots of hiking paths which are cleared and make a walk in the glistening snowy landscape an unforgettable experience.
Both classical skiers and skaters can enjoy almost 50 km of cross-country tracks around Rittner Horn.
The Rittner Horn ski region is about 45 km from Tramin and easy to find from the Wine Road in the direction of Bozen.
