Roen – a doozy of a tour

The crowning stage up to Tramin’s local mountain 14 km of single trail and almost 2,000m of difference in altitude down the mountain

When anyone comes to us to go mountainbiking, the Roen route has to be included. After a very arduous ascent to the summit, then a look back down makes it all worthwhile. The ride over the endless trails brings us and our bikes to an ebullient frame of mind.

The absolute highlight of the programme. Roen mountain (2,116 m), our local mountain. Whether up or down the mountain, it will ask questions of you. Here, it’s not at all anything to be ashamed of having to push. But you are rewarded with a fantastic view of the Dolomites, the Ortler massif and Brenta. And of course you shouldn’t forget the small matter of 1,900m of difference in altitude on the descent on a 14km single trail.
