20 Years Alpine Road of Romanesque

Join us, explore and get creative!
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Alpine Road of Romanesque Art, children and teenagers are invited to discover and express the beauty of Romanesque art in South Tyrol through drawing.
From April 1 to October 16, 2026, an international drawing competition takes place for young explorers aged 6 to 15. Tramin is part of this cultural initiative with two remarkable sites:
The St. Jakob Church in Kastelaz and the St. Valentin Church.
Discover Tramin creatively
Whether walking through vineyards or visiting historic churches, inspiration can be found everywhere in Tramin.
Participants can choose one of the sites and transform their impressions into colorful and imaginative artwork.

Completed drawings can be submitted or sent in according to the instructions provided
Awards and recognition
The best artworks will be awarded and featured in a special postcard series of the Alpine Road of Romanesque. Children’s artworks become ambassadors of Tramin and South Tyrol.
