Adventure, Local Associations & Summer Sounds
The third evening of Long Wednesday in Tramin brings together music, culinary delights and exciting experiences. A summer evening that showcases the vibrant and diverse village life of Tramin.
Providing the perfect musical atmosphere will be DJ Kurt, Elmar & Peter with traditional Gstanzln songs and strolling music, as well as Tramin singer Bettina Tengler. Music will fill various corners of the village centre, accompanying visitors as they explore the streets of Tramin on a warm summer evening.
Local associations and businesses will offer a variety of culinary highlights. Tramin Football Club will serve delicious pulled pork, while Caritas will prepare traditional Strauben pastries. A. v. Elzenbaum Winery and Bar Löwen will complete the culinary offering with South Tyrolean specialities, fine wines and refreshing summer drinks.
Right in the heart of the action on Rathausplatz, Bistro ARONA invites you to take a relaxing break with creative drinks and a lively summer atmosphere during the Long Wednesday in Tramin.
As on every evening, Tramin’s identity as a wine village takes centre stage. Local wineries and distilleries invite guests to tastings featuring selected wines and premium spirits.
Art and culture enrich the evening with exhibitions at Atelier Evi Andergassen, ceramic artworks by Julia Ellemunter at Bellutti, and the exhibition “Tramin Then & Now” at the Hoamet Tramin Museum.
From 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm, the Tramin Youth Choir presents “Birthyear Songs” – a collection of songs from the birth years of the singers.
The Mountain Rescue Service of Kaltern will perform an impressive rescue demonstration on Tramin’s church tower, offering fascinating insights into the work of mountain rescuers.
The Tramin Youth Fire Brigade will also be present, introducing children and teenagers to the world of firefighting through exciting demonstrations and equipment displays.
Children and families can once again enjoy a variety of activities:
The shops in the village centre will remain open until 10.00 pm for a relaxed evening shopping experience, while exhibitors showcase creative products and unique ideas.
Long Wednesday in Tramin is an initiative of the Tramin Tourist Office in cooperation with local partners, businesses and associations.
