Music, Flavours & Special Moments

The second evening of Long Wednesday in Tramin is dedicated to music, traditions and unique experiences. Once again, the village centre of Tramin becomes a lively meeting place filled with culinary delights, social encounters and a wonderful summer atmosphere.

Providing entertainment throughout the evening will be the Tramin Town Band, DJ Bros and the Tramin Folk Dance Group, bringing traditional melodies, modern rhythms and living customs to the streets of the wine village.

There will also be plenty to discover on the culinary side. The Tramin Farmers’ Women will delight visitors with their popular apple fritters. The A. v. Elzenbaum winery will serve South Tyrolean specialities and summer delicacies, while Bar Löwen welcomes visitors with beer, Strauben pastries and a relaxed atmosphere.

During the tastings, local wineries and distilleries will present selected wines and premium spirits. Participating producers include A. v. Elzenbaum Winery, the Roner and Psenner distilleries, as well as Bellutti with its high-quality South Tyrolean products.

A special highlight of the evening will be the aerial acrobatics performance by Aerialera. Elegance, strength and breathtaking movements will create unforgettable moments and leave visitors amazed.

The Volunteer Fire Brigade of Tramin will provide insights into its work and present a fire engine. Art and culture enthusiasts can explore exhibitions at Haus Menapace, discover the works of Manfred Eccli, and at the Atelier Evi Andergassen, visit the “Tramin Then & Now” exhibition at the Hoamet Tramin Museum and enjoy a special contribution in the Parish Church of Tramin.

Family and Children’s Programme

Families can once again look forward to a varied programme full of fun and entertainment:

• Elki Mini Disco – from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm in the primary school courtyard: music and movement for young visitors.
• Punch and Judy Show with performances at 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm – a classic family favourite. Floor games, Clown Evi and balloon modelling will complete the programme.
• Horse-drawn carriage rides through Tramin from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

The shops in the village centre invite visitors to enjoy evening shopping until 10.00 pm, while exhibitors present creative products and unique ideas.
